YARD DOGS ROAD SHOW AT SEBASTIANI THEATRE FEBRUARY 21 & 22
The Sebastiani Theatre welcomes the YARD DOGS ROAD SHOW for two fabulous shows on Sunday & Monday, February 21 & 22 at 7:30 p.m. The Yard Dogs lead the modern hobohemian on a visual and sonic journey through part of history that may or may not have existed -- followed by an ambitious return to the emotional challenges of this punch-drunk comtemporary world.
It is a true story on stage: sword swallowers, dancing dolls, sometimes fire eaters, and sunset hobo poetry -- all animated by the live sounds of the YARD DOGS cartoon heavy band. It's pure visual and sonic voodoo . . . and corn bread . . . children of the inbetween places like laughing monkeys eating fudgesicles, sitting in the shade and daydreaming . . . diamonds and teardrops -- this is a love letter from the bordello of your imagination. Warm your hands by the fire. Say hello and unwind before the weather turns and the little people with dinosaur mouths eat your toes and bury you clothes. Celebrate and adorn forever this rebellious time -- you are needed -- no matter what they say -- YOU are needed.
The Sebastiani Theatre is located on the Plaza in Sonoma at 476 First Street East. Reserved seating tickets are $22 in advance and $25 at the door and can be purchased in Sonoma at Readers' Books or the Sebastiani Theatre. Call the Sebastiani Theatre at 707/996-9756 for reservations. VISA and Mastercard are accepted. Doors open at 7:00pm.
