JOYCE MOLDOVAN, Volunteer Coordinator

Joyce grew up in Wisconsin. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin and graduate education studies at the University of Iowa and fine arts at Virginia Commonwealth University.

She and her husband have lived in Europe, Massachusetts, Virginia and New Mexico. They moved to the Sonoma Valley in 2002 to be close to their daughters.

Joyce was a USO Program director, Middle school science teacher and Department Chair in Virginia. In New Mexico she was a museum volunteer director and continued her volunteer director positions here in the Sonoma Valley. She has been the volunteer coordinator at The Sebastiani Theatre Foundation Board since it’s inception in 2008.

Volunteerism is extremely important to Joyce who believes that everyone can make a difference. In addition to The Sebastiani Foundation Board she is involved with citizenship classes, workshops and tutoring.

Her love of movies and theater started in her home town neighborhood theater. This passion has continued through the years and the many places she has lived. The Sebastiani Theatre is a treasure not only for Joyce but also for the volunteers and the community.
